We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Dreams Coordinator
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Dreams Coordinator is responsible for program planning and preparation, facilitation, and evaluation. A major component of this role is to seek volunteer mentors and match them with youth for mentor meetings. Additionally, the Dreams Coordinator will plan fun and educational activities for youth to explore possible career options while developing interviewing skills. The youth worker will also be accountable for supporting other program coordinators in various tasks such as preparing snack, ensuring safety among participants, and maintaining the cleanliness of the center. Given the nature of this role, those who have a drivers license and can work in-person will be preferred.
Community Liaison
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Liaison will focus on promoting WBYO’s barrier-free access to creative educational programming for marginalized youth and seeking new outreach opportunities for the organization to increase its profile to assist in becoming a priority for prospective funders.
